Due to a recent System Update for the PS3 being broken, some customers may have experienced errors updating their systems using one of our PS3 Hard Drive Update Kits. This ONLY affects customers that had installed the 3.56 system update PRIOR to upgrading their hard drives. When requested to run the update file again, they got an error.Error Code: "The data is corrupt (8002F225)" Please take note that the issue has been fixed and a correct firmware update has been released.See here for the current correct PS3 firmware update file.http://us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/ps3/
The headset is not ready or in “pairing” mode for the system to find it. Please unplug the headset from your system and then press and hold the power bottom on the headset until the Blue light becomes solid. You can release the button after that and perform the scan on your system. When you press the power button, the light will flash a couple of times but eventually will stop and stays on. Do not release the button in between. The Pass Code is “0000” (four zero).
My PS3 system does not recognize the new hard drive. I get a prompt on the screen to install the latest update when I switched the system on. You can select the option to install update via removable disk. The system will run the update and let you format the drive accordingly. Make sure you have the update files saved on the USB flash disk when select this option. The instruction to download the update file on an USB flash disk is available on this link : http://www.us.playstation.com/support/systemupdates/ps3/pc_update.html#update_PC
Please switch to the game you’re playing (Guitar Hero or Rock Band) on the receiver. You will then need to press the connect button on the guitar, follow by the same button on the receiver. This will connect both devices together. Reset the game if necessary.
